About Ocean Riders
The Golden Gate Dairy Stables, operated by Ocean Riders of Marin, (a non-profit 501(c7), is located within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), a unit of the National Park Service. We are primarily a trail rider’s barn and work as a Park Partner of the Golden Gate National Parks to manage an ecologically sound, community based, and educationally directed equestrian facility. We pride ourselves in our Green Horse Keeping principles and strive to be a model for Best Management Practices. We hope to offer a nature-based experiential and therapeutic riding program to the public sometime in the near future.

Ocean Riders Mission Statement
It is the mission of Ocean Riders to preserve the historical presence of horses and ranching in Frank Valley, while maintaining the integrity of the land, water, flora, and fauna. It is Ocean Riders intention to achieve this by modeling and upholding sound principles of ecology, supporting education of watershed issues through various outreach programs, especially to under-served youth, and promoting collaborative dialogue concerning the stewardship of the unique Redwood Creek watershed with the National Park Service, the Green Gulch Zen Center, the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Muir Beach and wider Bay Area communities.
